Nice cozy, hidden gem. Lots of great food choices and wait staff were nice & friendly. Great price for an all you can eat buffet.

First time here! Very simple , very clean family, all you can eat eatery!all the staff and head mama san are very friendly. Their customer service is very good,thru out our complete meal! The food is quality & fresh! You cook @ your table the marinated meats & many other dishes. The restaurant got packed as the evening went on. The Alaskan King crab Pieces were my favorite& the Kalbi ribs were delicious. The even had a ice cream soft serve machine which was a treat. We'll go back again as they close for good on Feb 2,2025. Opening another type of eatery! Go while their still here!

McCully Buffet is pretty predictable and satisfying. The ladies always work hard at getting you what you need, clearing plates, changing grills, filling water, etc. The selection of food is vast, even at lunch (which is served only on weekends). Today, our favorites were the short ribs, fried mandoo, mussels, and fried chicken wings. The sushi and poke selection was pretty impressive too. For $30, it's priced reasonably. I just don't like smelling like bbq when I leave. But, I'll get over it!

The pineapple ice cream was absolutely delicious! Service is great, the servers are very kind. Ambiance is same as always, love it here! I visit every time I visit Honolulu ^_^ See you next time McCully!

The ladies are roaming the room removing used plates. One changed our grill too. There 5 stations: soft serve, fruits, jello & kim chee Soup Raw items to grill your own Sushi Our water was refilled. Customers keep entering. Couples, friends, families with kids( sometimes you'll hear a scream or two.) Unlike Vegas and some other AYCE places where you pay when you enter, here , you pay at the end. Mamá Mía soundtrack is playing. That along with loud conversation on the next table, it is loud. You cannot take food out. There are signs with meaning not to take more than you need or penalty if you waste. You can go up as many times as you want. I wish soft drinks were included n the price of your meal.

I've heard all the hype about this place and when it was suggested by my partner, my eyes lit up and we headed here immediately. It was a bit later during the day, around 7 when we arrived, so we got started right away. They have a pretty wide selection of banchans, meats, smaller amount of cooked items and also sushi and sashimi. On my first round I got the: - short ribs, flavorful and tender - cooked salmon, HARD PASS on this one, it was so dry and rock hard... - sashimis, all very fresh and delicious. - pokes, same as sashimis, very fresh as well - seared salmon nigiri, since it got cold it just felt weird, as seared sashimis usually has a seared, smoky flavor which this lacked - fried chicken: it was alright The quality of their meats are in the middle, if you have been to suras i would say it is around that level, nothing crazy but good enough. I preferred eating their sashimis but it was nice to have a choice, especially if you're bringing people along who can't decided on either. They had a soft serve ice cream which unfortunately disappointed me because I did not know it was going to be basically a pineapple sorbet/dole whip type. My friend was a fan though. The workers were all very friendly, and checked on us several times. One thing to note is they did last call for everyone at 8 for some reason, maybe because it was slow but I was just a bit surprised since they closed at 9. Would 10000% come again just for the variety.

The food here was good for the most part. It's $42.95 per person for dinner all you can eat. They have a huge selection: sashimi, sushi, variety of meats that you can grill, banchan, noodles, rice, soup, fried chicken wings, etc. I mostly ate the sashimi, sushi and kalbi. Those three are my faves. The fish is always fresh and I can totally tell the difference. The only item that I tried that I didn't care for was the fried chicken wings. It wasn't that crispy and it lacked flavor. The hubby ate a bunch of grilled meats and poke bowls. I was too busy eating my own food to keep up with his plates. We finished our meals with pineapple soft serve. It had just the right amount of tanginess and hit the spot. It really soothes you when you're full. We asked for the check and they told us to pay at the check in counter. They hubby paid for his meal and an automatic 15% gratuity was added onto the bill.
